It has been a VERY long time since I last updated the pages, I am sorry for that. During this time there has naturally happened a lot in our lives. Our beautiful daughter Tindra was born in the end of July 2008, Emiko became a Finnish Champion in December 2008 and we moved to a house of our own this summer! The dogs and cats love the garden, unfortunately it is not cat-safe yet... Especially Miini likes running away to explore the neighbourhood...

The reason that I am finally updating the pages are that we have really sad news. :( Our dear Mixi left us last Wednesday... Me and my boyfriend (husband nowadays!) were just a young couple when we got Mixi, we have so many wonderful memories from our years spent with Mixi. Mixi was always happy, she was so kind and it felt like she could read our thoughts, she was the perfect friend and companion!

I will try to update the gallery some day soon. Have a nice autumn!

The puppies are here! Emiko gave birth to five puppies on Monday 12th,one of the puppies was already dead when it was born, and one male died later the same day... The puppies were born one week earlier than expected and two of the puppies were very small. Now it seems like all three have decided to live and they are eating a lot!

We are expecting puppies in the end of May! :)  Unfortunately it seems that there will not be any kittens this spring, Demetra had a very hot and nice date with a handsome male, but now it seems that she is in heat again...

Emiko and I took the train to the Jyväskylä dogshow one week ago, the judge didn't like Emiko's movements and she "only" got very good. Ida showed Sisu last week in Vaasa, he got his first very good.

Emiko and I had a very nice trip to Tallinn together with Rose-Marie from Rowleys kennel and her friend Ann-Louise. The show was not a big success for any of us, we didn't even have the judge we came for, but the vacation was great and the dogs behaved very well!

I got Emiko's official healthresults from the Finnish Kennel Club last week, her elbows are both healthy (0/0) and her hips are grade C/B. Her knees were already cleared from patella luxation when she was x-rayed.

Ludde's and Pimu's puppies have already left for their new homes, but I have updated the gallery with some cute photos of them 7 weeks old.

New showresults for Jamie, Bellona and Emiko! Demetra has also visited the Kissaklinikka Felina in Helsinki, she is now officially FeLV and Fiv negative, bloodtype A and her heart shows no signs of HCM.

I will check Emiko's hips, elbows and knees in the beginning of February. We have decided that Emiko will meet Ludde the next time she is in heat. Finally some puppyplans! :)

Ludde became a very proud father to three puppies (2+1) at kennel Pretty Touch in the end of December. The proud mother is FIN CH Noblewhite Great Soul.

We wish all our friends a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! We have some very interesting plans for the new year, but I'll tell you more about them later! :)

Emiko won her first CAC two weeks ago in Hyvinkää! The judge was Kornelia Butrimova and there were 25 Japanese Spitzes entered to the show. Emiko won the junior-class and was placed second best bitch, we are very proud of our beautiful princess! :)

Yesterday Mari (the owner of Demetra) and I went to Porvoo with four cats and Mari's dog Veeti. Veeti was not welcome at the catshow and spent the day with Mari's friends. Jamie was a bit nervous without his best friend Jagger, but he was very kind and got an excellent judgement. This time the older male won and Jamie got Ex2. Demetra was not in her best mood, and the judg called her "eine kleine Hexe" (a small witch!) but she got an excellent judgement and her second CACIB. Bellona and Pyret were both Best in Variety and Nominated! :) Thank you Mari for a nice day in Porvoo!

I have updated the gallery with a lot of new photos taken with our new digital camer (Nikon D40X). This summer Bellona's beautiful children Kalabalik Danaë Trolltös, Demetra Drömfé and Dionysos Draktand have all gained their champion/premior-titles! Congratulations, we are very proud of you! :) Pyret has now three titles, EC, DM and Premior! Showresults updated for both cats and dogs.

Emiko was best junior in the Swedish speciality-show and Ludde was third best male, I am very proud of our snowballs!

My sister Ida and her boyfriend Andrej have got a new familymember, Cefeus Lonely Boy, a black Australian Kelpie called Quick. He is adorable! Emiko fell in love with him at once, unfortunately he will be much bigger than Emiko next time they'll meet.

I have got a lot of photos and new showresults, but I have only updated one page... A big cat with an even bigger personality and heart has left his family for the rainbow bridge... Cosse (EC Kalabalik Aiakos af HG) died on July 31st.

We have been enjoying the Finnish summer at our summercottage in Tenala most of the time. The cats and the dogs love the freedom and the possibility to go outdoors whenever (at least almost!) they want to. Emiko loves the water and have been swimming! :)

Emiko has been to some shows again, this time totally in bikinis... Since I was working at the show in Karjaa Ida was kind enough to take care of Emiko the whole day, thank you Ida! Our friends Maria and  Fredrik got married last Saturday in Vasa, congratulations! The next day was one of the most important shows of the year, the annual speciality show for Japanes Spitz! 85 dogs were entered to the show in Nokia. I am very proud of Emiko's result, 10 bitches were enetered in the Junior-class and Emiko was placed second!!! She also got the res-certificate. 

We have got two more shows this summer, next weekend in Västerås in Sweden! I have entered Emiko and Ludde, and Ida will be showing Sisu.

After many months of planning, searching and waiting HE is finally here!!! Welcome home Jamie! :)

Jamie is a beautiful male from S*Mar'Michel's cattery in Sweden. His parents are IC Mar'Michel's Halina Husky and EC D*Lennox a Beetlejuice. I have been very fond of Mar'Michel's breeding for many years, finally my dream came true! Thank you Marika for this wonderful purring kitten! We are so proud of him! Jamie is co-owned with Laura Ruissalo and will be keeping her cats and dogs company.

I have also got a lot of new showresults, both for the cats and for Emiko. Thank you Minna, Elise ja Suski for all the help at the catshow in Hyvinkää! It is impossible for one person to show five cats! :) Check out the new photos in the gallery!

Emiko has been to her first real show! She decided to shed the most of her coat the night before the show, but she still got an excellent judgement and a reserv-CAC! :) Congratulations to Rose-Marie at Rowley's kennel for all the fantastic results!

I have been waiting for some new photos of Emiko taken by my sister Ida, but she has not sent them yet... I will let you know when I get them!

Almost two weeks ago Emiko and Sisu were shown at the International dog show in Vaasa, Sisu got his CAC and has now got the title Finnish champion!!! (His list of titles is quite long: FIN CH, EST JunCH, Balt. JW-06, EU JW-06, EST JW-06, EST W-06) Sisu also got his first CACIB and was BOX. Our little pricess Emiko was once again Best of Breed puppy! :) We are sooo proud of our little darling!

Last weekend Pyret made her debute as a neuter at the cat show in Helsinki. She was joined by Bellona, Demetra and Dionysos. We had a fantastic day: Bellona got her last CAGCIB and became Grand International Champion, she was also Best of Variety! Demetra, who is dreaming of a boyfriend and doesn't have time to eat, got her last CAC and is now a champion! Dionysos, aka Simba, got his last CAP and became Premior, he was also BIV and Nominated!!! Pyret got her first CAP and was placed 4th of six veterans. Thank you Ingela, Mari and Elise for all the help and for a fantastic day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Simba, Demetra, Daphne, Märtha & Danny! Bellona's kittens from the D-litter become 1 year old today! We wish the kittens and their owners many happy years together!

Last weekend Suski (owner of Danaë Trolltös), Elise (owner of Dionysos Draktand) and myself drove to Vasa with four cats. Since my sister had entered Amor to the show in Seinäjoki we had five cats to show: Amor, Bellona, Demetra, Danaë and Dionysos. Please visit the new page with results to see how the show went. I am very proud of Bellona's kittens, and I am very happy that we found such nice families for all the kittens. Thank you Suski and Elise for a great trip, I hope you will join me on some more trips to shows far away! ;)

Emiko has been to her first show! We entered her to a puppyshow in Helsinki, the judge was Mrs. Marja Talvitie. There were only two Japanese Spitzes entered, Emiko and a male from Bella Godivas kennel. The judge liked both dogs a lot and they both got Prize of honour, as best of breed the judge chose Emiko!!! We are so proud of our little princess! She behaved so well, it seemed like she has been to shows her whole life! :) Her next show will be in Vasa next month.

A new year with a lot of new possibilities and plans, we will of course visit some shows, both with the cats and Emiko, and hopefully Emiko will have her first agilitycourse this summer! I have also got some interesting plans for future kittens...

We have got a new familymember! Dina (Kalabalik Aquavit O'Felix, after Gina and Rowleys Freedom Fighter) needed a new home due to allergy in her family and my parents decided to take her! She is almost five years old and we really hope that she will enjoy her new home. I will hopefully take her to some shows later this year.
